We recently made a 4-day stopover in Singapore, enroute to KL. It was our first trip back since we relocated.
The 12-hour flight was tough. Lucas only slept about 3 hours. The rest of the time he spent babbling/complaining in the dark, keeping us both awake. When we landed in Singapore, we were all very very tired.
We had a great time catching up with family and friends. Lucas was meeting new people at lunch, dinner and in-between, and getting in and out of taxis, cars and busy shopping centres. A far cry from his quiet life in The Hague. Unfortunately, we simply didn't have enough time to meet everyone despite back-to-back appointments.

Checking-in to the Mandarin Orchard at 7am.
So tired, I can't blink.
Very nice beadwork deco in the lobby.

Me and kim-po..
.. and ah kim.
Ah, my trusty blue tumbler in this noisy land full of strange people..
Sharing it with my friend, Shue Yin.
And taking it back when she's not looking.
Lots of happy memories!
